The Policy and Project Support Officer will be part of the Forest and Fire Policy team within the Policy and Planning division.
The division is an important part of the Bushfire and Forest Services group, enabling the Department to efficiently, effectively and safely meet its forest and fire management responsibilities.
This role will support project management, policy development and stakeholder engagement and will provide advice to the government about the future use and management of Victoria’s state forests, balancing multiple forest values and uses.

The Operations Project Officer will work within the Operations Unit and report to the Higher Education Manager.
The Operations Project Officer provides support to operational projects in workplace services, procurement and portfolio management teams of the Agriculture Victoria Research, Operations Branch.
